Peek at my Pad Thursday on a Tuesday...

Ok, so it's been a LOOOONG while since I've done one of these posts and as I was editing a few recent pictures I said to myself...

"Self?"

"Yes?"

"Who's the boss of this blog anywho??"

"Why WE are of course!"

"We???"

"Er, uh, I mean YOU, of course"

"That's more like it."

And as such boss, we... I mean I decided that I shall post these most recent peeks regardless of what day it may or may not happen to be.

As of late, I have developed quite the obsession with art prints and the framing thereof. Etsy is FULL of amazing and talented artisans and if funds were limitless, I'd have one entire room wallpapered from floor to ceiling with my favorite finds.

The following photos are just the beginning of what I fear may develop into an actual problematic addiction of sorts, though truly, how much of a "problem" can art really be eh?!? :)

It all started with this one by this lady. I had seen one of her prints quite some time ago and just couldn't seem to get it out of my head. It is simple yet detailed and printed in one of my very 2 very favorite colors: red. I wish I had these shoes - for reals.

Ruby Slippers, Gocco Print

After my first purchase, I knew I would be needing a second print soon there after so I continued my search. I soon came across this lady and having my own affinity for giving life and personality to inanimate objects, I knew she was the gal to help me with my 2nd print... (It's not yet framed how I'd like as I plan on painting that wall and didn't want to permanently frame it till said painting was complete, though I couldn't wait to get it on the wall and generic wood-type-material frame would have to do)

Custom family portrait
(L to R: Me, Lillie, Isabel, and Mr. G with Miss Sophia on his "lap".
Each fabric compliments our personalities so well!)

The next 2 are from the same shop and I couldn't be more THRILLED with them! I framed the first one myself but had the anatomical one framed professionally and though I dropped FAR more moolah on it than I was hoping, I am SOOO happy with the final product!!!

You Are All I Need
(hanging in the stairwell and only seen while walking downstairs from our room)
You Are Here
(Hanging on the wall near Mr. G's side of the bed where it both warms his heart and creeps him out at the same time.)

I have another one that is awaiting framing so rather than show you now, I'd like to wait till its a little more presentable :)

OK, that concludes this most recent peek at my pad and now I shall go attempt to come up with something creative for supper... french toast sounds good... OOOH! PUMPKIN french toast. YEP. Decision made.

Hungrily,
Emily
